Jodhpur, 17 July 2024 - Indian Railways has proposed a new daily express train service between Jodhpur (JU) and Pune, Hadapsar (HDP). The objective of this new service is to enhance connectivity between these two cities and provide a reliable travel option for passengers.

Proposed Schedule and Timings

Jodhpur to Hadapsar (JU-HDP):

• Departure from Jodhpur (JU): 17:00
• Arrival at Jaipur (JP): 22:00 | Departure: 22:10
• Arrival at Sawai Madhopur (SWM): 23:55 | Departure: 00:20
• Arrival at Nad (NAD): 04:33
• Arrival at Karad (KARD): 15:10
• Arrival at Pune (PUNE): 19:40 | Departure: 19:45
• Arrival at Hadapsar (HDP): 20:10

Hadapsar to Jodhpur (HDP-JU):

• Departure from Hadapsar (HDP): 23:40
• Arrival at Pune (PUNE): 23:50 | Departure: 23:55
• Arrival at Karad (KARD): 04:55
• Arrival at Nad (NAD): 16:05

Obstructions and Consequences

This new train service will create block corridor obstructions, especially in the Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur (JP-SWM) section, which is a single-line section with block corridor availability at night. The following impacts are expected as a result:

1. 20482 TPJ-BGKT Humsafar Express: 15 minutes delay at SWM by WCR.
2. 19670 PPTA-UDZ Humsafar Express: 10 minutes delay at CNA by WCR.
3. 22175 NGP-JP SF Express: 10 minutes delay at CNA by WCR.
4. 19101 VR-BH Express: 20 minutes delay at BH arrival.
5. 22196 BDTS-VGLJ Express: 05 minutes delay at NAD by WR.
6. 12009 MMCT-ADI Express: 10 minutes delay at ADI arrival.
7. 15631 BME-GHY Express: 20 minutes earlier departure from BME.
8. 14661 BME-JAT Express: 20 minutes earlier departure from BME.

Maintenance and Rake Requirements

• Primary Maintenance (PM): at Jodhpur (JU) RBPC.
• Rake Requirement: 03 rakes
